What Is So Special About Quinoa Nutrition?

You likely heard about quinoa nutritional benefit but you're still uncertain if you want to add it in your diet. I was raised having rice everyday but from the time I stopped, I know I will never go back to white rice.

Contrary to what most people believe in, eating healthier is not costly, that is if you know what to buy. This is one of the biggest challenges why people won't live a healthy lifestyle, Yes it is true that organic food can be expensive but this one here is an exception. You only pay about $2.95 per pound and a cup of uncooked seeds can be full 3 cups when cooked so as it turns out, you are saving more money. The dietary value will definitely outweigh the cost.

This is probably the most versatile super food that I know simply because you can get it ready essentially any way you wish to and you may mix any kind of ingredient that you like (healthful ingredients of course). It won't alter nor overpower other ingredients.

It is just a far healthier option to rice as it includes complex carbohydrates, reduced in unwanted fat and it's really not full of sugars contrary to white rice. Like what I mentioned earlier, you can add anything you like including veggies, meat and seafood. You cook and eat it exactly the same way you eat rice just you are acquiring much more vitamins.

Another advantage that rice cannot equal is its protein content. It's also loaded with high quality protein and with every serving, you get about 9 grams of complete protein. Complete protein means it contains all 9 essential amino acids. So basically, you get a decent dose of carbohydrates minus the sugar. Can rice beat that?

I have always been a long-time believer of healthy diet and by diet I did not mean starve yourself to passing away. There are specific varieties of food that fills you up effectively but they won't make you gain weight super fast just like what French fries do. I stopped eating white rice and I swear I've never felt that wonderful. You may need to know about some values before you decide to actually change to it.

Because of its nutritional value, it can be considered being a super grain although technically it's not a grain, the seed of the plant relates to spinach and Swiss chard. The Things I really like most in regards to the numerous nutritional values is the sum of proteins you get.

Why is it called the super grain or "Mother of all grains"? Well because unlike most grains, it does not lack the amino acid lysine. It actually has a lot of lysine content. This means that you are getting complete high quality protein for every serving. This is same as true with other non-true grains like buckwheat and amaranth.

Are you aware that WHO (World Health Organization) graded its protein quality at least similar to that in milk? It also provides more iron than other grains and it also contains numerous potassium, riboflavin (can help you ease migraine), vitamin B6, nicain and thiamin. It's a fantastic source of magnesium. Copper and zinc as well. Are you able to notice that all in some other grains? I really don't think so!
